Purchased these for my husband for racing. He was skeptical insisting they weren't going to be right for riding. He changed his mind as soon as he put them on - he can see so much better and loves them. I have snowboarded with a mild blur for years; my eyes usually get used to it after a few hours without glasses on. I have dealt with this as I cannot wear contact lenses. It's just a thing I have managed for decades. In normal lighting, it isn't a major issue for me. As an experienced snowboarder, my instincts fill the gap. Though they do periodically fail, and I miss a calculation, some movement, or a transition. With that said, in flat light, I experience a subtle yet noticeable blur or ghosting around the edges and in the details of snow impressions, tracks, and changes in the terrain. This makes an already difficult scenario more challenging. Frustrating as every clear detail helps in those challenging conditions. So far, these lenses have eased the strain on my eyes, making everyday riding clearer, and, when in low-vis, they have provided the sharpness needed for an accurate interpretation of what is in my path.
The frame is non-intrusive and does not limit my peripheral vision, which was one of my main concerns. I use these with Anon Googles and a magnetic attaching face cover/neck warmer. They will fog if you don't get the anti-fog solution. This is simply a result of warm air entering my goggles. With the face cover/neck warmer removed, I do not experience the fogging, but I highly recommend the anti-fog solution.
Very happy with the service and product provided. The transition from my glasses to these inserts was very smooth, with only a few moments for my eyes to adjust the first time wearing them.
The only thing I would say about my specific goggle type is that it could be a larger frame, yet I ride with a wide-style goggle, and it hasn't impeded me yet. Overall recommended. I wish I had gotten them sooner.
