Measurements

Temple Vs. Strap Version

Temple (Glasses): The 'glasses' variant of the PROGEAR® Eyeguard. With temples on the sides like regular glasses, so it's easy to put on and take off.

Strap (Goggles): The 'goggles' variant of the PROGEAR® Eyeguard. We removed the temples and utilized an adjustable strap to turn it into goggles, so it's easy to wear under and over helmets. The adjustable strap also gives you the most comfortable fit around the ears, especially when your ear-to-ear distance is wider.

Vision Plan & Insurance Covered

Our prescription sports glasses and goggles are covered by most major vision plans and insurance packages, e.g. VSP, Medicare, etc. However, we do not process claims directly onsite. We offer official receipt upon request and you can claim through your administrators.

Looks and Functions great!

We ordered goggles for my 9yr old to wear playing baseball. Staff was very helpful in making sure we got the sizing right and shipping was very fast! They came in a nice hard case he keeps in his baseball bag. So far they function great!

Very rigid and unable to adjust

We purchased these for our special needs adult son and they have actually injured him on his ear and nose. They are so hard and there is no way to adjust them. Very disappointed.

Sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction. I'm the senior optician here at E-optician.

Please understand our sports glasses are intended for sports safety and hence they are fabricated in impact resistant polycarbonate material. They are not like regular eyeglasses and unable to adjust.

However, your problem seems to be an easy fix. We can send you an adjustable, strap-style headband. You can easily swap out the temples(sides) by simply unwinding 2 screws.

Disappointed

Purchased large goggle style with request to contact me prior to processing to verify size. Called customer service & was advised the glasses are being processed and not to worry. No issue exchanging the L for XL but I requested that the goggle version frame with strap be swapped out for the sports frame with a strap Vs the temple (arms) which customer service said could be done. To my disappointment I received the goggles version again and was told when I called back that the only difference between the two are the nose guards; however, I can clearly see the style difference. I spent a lot of money for a glasses that I am stuck with and not happy with :(

'You are right about removing the snow guard. I can see there isn’t a discernible difference. They are a wonderful pair of sports eye wear that I will get plenty of use out of. I am happy with them.

Quality

The Quality of the glasses seems excellent. I was impressed. I may have made a mistake when ordering with my prescription. I indicated that my prescription was for reading and distance but for sport glasses i maybe should have only indicated that I needed them for distance?
